We launched FlyHire into early access yesterday — and wow, what a response.
Thousands of you logged in, set up profiles, created jobs, and started exploring what hiring should actually feel like in aviation. And while we’re proud of how smooth the rollout was, we’re even more excited about how fast we’re already improving things.
Here’s what we’ve deployed in the past 24 hours — and what’s coming up next.
🔍 Search and filter improvements
We heard it loud and clear: search needs to feel fast, accurate, and intuitive.
Whether you're a pilot looking for your dream job or a recruiter trying to sort through profiles efficiently, we’ve made a few big strides:
- Search results are now more accurate, especially for multi-keyword queries
- Filter interactions are faster and smoother, especially on mobile
- We fixed several bugs with region/location filtering that caused blank results
- Design adjustments make it easier to see which filters are active

Smart suggestions based on your previous searches, recent filter usage, and roles you’ve clicked on — all designed to reduce noise and surface relevance.
🛠️ Bug fixes and polish
This is the part of software development that rarely gets love in marketing emails — but it’s the real MVP behind the scenes.
Here’s a short list of what we cleaned up:
- Sign-up and login glitches (especially for mobile Safari users)
- Credential upload UI bugs
- Better error messages when uploading unsupported file types
- Faster load times across dashboard views
Our dev team is moving fast, and you’ll continue to see small improvements every day — many of them invisible but impactful.
📝 Smarter contracts, simplified
Hiring isn’t just about finding the right pilot — it’s about closing the deal quickly, clearly, and securely.
We’re building a lightweight contract creation system directly inside FlyHire that will let employers:
- Create reusable contract templates
- Autofill pilot data from profiles
- Send offers and track status in-app
It’s not designed to replace your legal software — just to make the process faster and more pilot-friendly.
