We’ve completely reworked the UI for our pilot-focused social and messaging system. Here’s what’s new:
- 🎛️ Streamlined feed layout that feels like a pilot log meets a mission briefing
- 💬 Message-first design for faster access to chats, interview threads, and follow-ups
- 🧭 Pilot, instructor, and employer profile badges — so you always know who you’re talking to
- 📱 Mobile-friendly post creation with smart formatting for photos, hours, and milestones
- 🕶️ Dark mode everything (because we know you’re on night ops)
You’ll feel it right away: cleaner design, faster response, and a smoother flow whether you’re making a post or messaging a recruiter.

This update also unlocks the foundation for the full FlyHire Network experience, where you can:
- Follow other pilots and instructors
- Share new type ratings, job offers, or wins
- Ask the community about interviews or aircraft transitions
- Post milestones, cockpit pics, or quick tips
The new UI makes it easier to build visibility and credibility — without needing to overthink it like other platforms.
📒 The new Auto Logbook starts rolling out this week
One of our biggest backend upgrades is now hitting the tarmac:
The Auto Logbook + Map + Charts update is rolling out gradually to FlyHire users starting now.
✅ New features include:
- 📍 Flight Map: see your logged routes and destinations on an interactive map
- 📊 Flight Time Charts: breakdowns by PIC/SIC, IFR, turbine, and more
- ✍️ Quick Add Tools: bulk logging of 91, 135, 121, or CFI time
- 📄 Printable Reports for airline interviews and ATP applications
- 🔄 Smart Syncing with Smart Resume and job matches
This week’s launch is soft, with expanded access rolling out to all users by next week.
🛫 What this means for you:
- Your pilot experience will now be visual, filterable, and exportable
- Your resume will auto-update when new time is logged
- Employers can see your flying history more clearly and with context
- Your FlyHire profile will become the only logbook you need to update
And it’s all optimized for mobile.

- Post rendering bugs for long bios
- Chat notification delay on Android
- Minor logbook sync hiccups with older resume versions
